Interactive media designers are professionals who use computer software to develop, create, and optimize graphics and animation when developing interactive web pages, mobile apps, web-based games, and other interactive applications. Using digital technologies, interactive media specialists plan, execute and even measure the results of a company's digital marketing initiatives."

Course Outline:
The curriculum is currently divided into 2 units with emphasis given to industry standard Adobe programs Animate and Premiere Pro. Students will learn to use industry leading digital software for video production, editing, and animation.
What is Adobe Animate?
Adobe Animate is used to design vector graphics and animation for television programs, online video, websites, web applications, rich internet applications, and video games. The program also offers support for raster graphics, rich text, audio and video embedding, and ActionScript scripting.
Adobe Animate is compatible with MacOS and Microsoft Windows.
Unit 1: Adobe Animate. Projects focus on photo manipulation, restoration, digital painting and skills designed to introduce students to the program's capabilities.
What is Adobe Premiere Pro?
Adobe Premiere Pro is video editing software for film, TV, and the web.
Adobe Premiere Pro is compatible with MacOS and Microsoft Windows.
Unit 2: Adobe Premiere Pro. Projects focus on creating animations, videos, and rich motion graphics.
What is Adobe After Effects?
Adobe After Effects is the industry standard tool for motion graphics and visual effects. After Effects compositing tools enable you to combine multiple layers of video and images seamlessly into the same scene.
Adobe After Effects is compatible with MacOS and Microsoft Windows.
Unit 3: Adobe After Effects: Skills and projects focus on combining multiple layers of video and graphics for professional effects.
What is Adobe Audition?
Adobe Audition is the industry-leading audio workstation allowing user to edit, mix, record, and restore audio.
Adobe Audition is compatible with MacOS and Microsoft Windows.
Unit 4: Adobe Audition: Skills and projects focus on audio recording.
